Description
29" x 16" x 14". The wooden-framed kitchen has
original creamy-yellow painted finish on both
exterior and interior,with original teal blue
ornamental trim and base. The interior walls and
floor are lithographed-papered in a charming and
complicated way,with two borders,upper wallpaper
to simulate tiling,and then the suggestion of a
different "tile" below the wainscoting border. The
original wooden furniture is painted to match,and
is attached to the walls,including cupboard with
glass upper doors,work-top cabinet,two large and
highly-ornamental shelves,and four small shelves.
The rare gas stove is of tinplate with brass oven
door and legs,and the kitchen is furnished with
blue and white accessories including blue tin
hanging oil lamp,tin canisters,porcelain
dispensers,blue-enameled ironware pots and
utensils,tin clock,cutlery tray,stenciled tin
lunch box,and more. A German bisque doll house
lady in original costume is included. Excellent
condition of kitchen,some minor play wear on
enameled ironware.Germany,circa 1910,by Christian
