Description
19" x 12" x 13". A pentagonal-shaped wooden room
with spindled front columns and original dark
brown painted exterior and columns has originally
papered walls and floor,with ceiling paper
border,and is decorated with a hanging chandelier
of gilded metal and cranberry glass drops,hand
woven old carpet,a set of bent-wood parlor
furnishings with red velvet upholstery,tall hall
mirror with marble shelf,Harrass black wooden
lady's desk,bronze jardiniere with wooden planter
of flowers,gilded soft metal clock,various
prints,and accessories including plate of tragant
apples,bronze-finished bust,Jasperware
figurine,pair of framed silhouettes,and a little
trunk. The room is peopled by an early paper mache
gentleman,and a German porcelain lady in very fine
original costume and with rare coiffure. Excellent
condition. Germany,mid-19th century.
