Description
22" x 14" x 10". The wooden-framed store with Art Nouveau styling has original painted grey base,ochre exterior with brown strips,and ochre interior with green,brown and red accents. There are swing-out store window fronts and the back wall is furnished with display niches and 12 spice drawers with original three-language labels (German,English,French) on each drawer. The floor has its original lithographed paper to simulate parquet with working drawer,and a store scale with brass trays. Excellent condition,wear to paper floor at one spot. Germany,circa 1900,the store has the Christian Hacker stamp and is pencil notated as model 111/3. Very rare to find the three-language labels. The actual store is shown in Kohler's book,Christian Hacker,page 177
