Description
36" x 19" x 17". The wooden-framed kitchen has
pale-yellow/cream original paint on the exterior
and upper kitchen walls,with lithographed paper to
simulate tile on the lower walls and forming a
border at the ceiling level. There is actual wood
wainscoting and floor molding,and the floor is
covered with lithographed paper to simulate wood.
The kitchen has its original wooden furniture with
cream painted finish to match the walls,accented
with blue edging and decorated with
highly-stylized motifs. The furniture includes a
tall cupboard with glass doors,work
stand,table,and two chairs. There is a fine
painted tin stove with chrome oven doors and
nickel-plated pots and pans,and a rare folding
chair/ladder. Blue enameled cookware hangs on the
walls including a rare mold. and there is a tin
canister set and a blue decorated porcelain hot
plate. Excellent condition,floor papers worn.
Germany,circa 1920,attributed to Otto Muehl. The
well-preserved kitchen is most appealing with
stylized "modern" motif on original furniture,and
cheerful blue enamelware.
