Description
8" (20 cm.) l. The firm card paper recamier is
covered with lithographed paper to simulate exotic
woods and is edged with gold-paper borders to
simulate bronze. The rolled edges are
elegantly-shaped and the bed has original silk
cover. French,circa 1830. Excellent condition with
some wear to silk. An extremely rare piece of
early furniture in classic French Empire style.
