Description
39" x 16" x 15". The wooden doll rooms feature a
large parlor and a smaller dining room,with wood
having having natural finish columns at the front
and painted ochre/orange exterior with red
stripes. The walls and floors are papered,with
different elaborately-designed floors to simulate
carpeting or parquet designs. A paneled door opens
between the two rooms,and wooden valances hang
above the three-part windows with opening windows
below a fitted transom window. The parlor
furniture appears original to the house,matching
the window and door trim in both finish and
style,and includes cupboard,settee with mirrored
decorative crest and four matching chairs with
moss velvet upholstery,entry mirror,side table
with drawer,and plant stand; parlor accessories
include a rare Erhard gas chandelier with candle
arms,metal plant stand,ceramic stove,bird
cage,rare compote dish,and various prints and
frames. The dining room furniture includes settee
and chairs in maroon velvet upholstery and a
well-laden table with pewter dishes,a pair of rare
double-arm pewter candle holders on the
wall,writing desk,and various accessories. Four
German bisque dollhouse dolls are included.
Excellent overall condition,there is a crack on
the milk glass shade,draperies are not original.

especially charming wallpaper border in the dining
room featuring scenes of home sweet home.
