Description
22" x 21" x 14". The wooden framed doll house room
has five-sided walls with very high ceiling,the
upper portions of the walls angled inward in an
unusual manner,with green and maroon painted
exterior and mauve and gilt decorated front
column,architectural carving on the crest with
bird and flowers. The interior has wall and floor
papers,the upper portion of the room with bird and
flower wall paper that continues the theme of the
crest. The interior is furnished as a Viennese
parlor at the end of the 19th century,with a
wonderful set of upholstered furnishings,having
maroon,on velvet upholstery with inset velvet
panels,striped cord edging and silk
fringe,including a settee with brass lion heads
trim,two arm chairs and two side chairs. There is
also a set of carved dark furniture with elaborate
trim,including sideboard,dessert buffet,cupboard
and table,ceramic parlor stove,amber glass tea
service,various prints,two clocks,silver wall
candle holders,and a wonderful beaded glass
chandelier. The bisque doll house lady is
included. Excellent condition. Late 19th
century,house and contents. A wonderful and
fanciful house with many rare furnishings and
accessories.
