Description
4 " (11 cm.) h. Styled as a safe,although actually
designed to be used as a penny bank with hinged
lift lid,the tin safe is painted brown to resemble
rosewood and has gilt accents,base and decorative
crown. There is a slit at the top for coin
inserts,and a key for unlocking the safe and
lifting the lid. Very good condition,some paint
rubs,lid hinges repaired on inside. Germany,circa
1875,Rock & Graner.
