Description
29" x 18" x 20". The wooden-framed kitchen has two
six-paned windows on each side wall,and is painted
original pale green on the interior including the
chimney,and light grey on the exterior with darker
grey edges and red stripes. The floor is a rich
pattern of black and white diamonds edged by red
and blue blocks,and having a faux-marble
splashboard around the edges. A rare early cast
iron stove has a detachable stove-top oven. The
kitchen is amply-furnished with painted green
furnishings decorated with red stripes,including
cupboard with pierced tin "pie doors" at the
bottom,work table,center table with bottom
shelf,chair,hanging shelf,hanging tool
rack,butcher block,salt box,four small lidded
boxes,and a rare chair that converts to a step
ladder. There are 23 copper molds,pans or
kettles,and a number of other pots. White
earthenware crockery has original black stenciled
foods in old Germanic script,There are various tin
graters and tools. An early fine German paper
mache lady rules the kitchen,along with a tiny pet
mouse. Excellent original condition,with rare
matching furnishings and accessories.
