Description
6" (15 cm.) Of lithographed tin,the candy
dispensers were toy-sized version of the store
candy dispensers presented by chocolatiers.
Designed for home use and to inspire the saving of
pennies in order to purchase more candy, the child
could put a coin in the bank and receive a small
candy. These two examples still have coins in the
banks, and decorated with wonderful images of
children from the 1920s and 1930s. Excellent
condition. Germany,circa 1930.
