Description
5 1/2"(14 cm.) The early tall-case clock with
rounded crest is of wood with ormolu-paper trim on
the facade that frames the glass pendulum window
in which pendulum and weights are
freely-suspended. The clock face is lithographed
Roman numerals and the gilt metal clock hands turn
in unison. Excellent condition. Germany,circa
1880,Erhard & Sohne,probably for the French
market,the outstanding piece was presented in
their catalog,and this actual piece was
photographed in Kohler's Ormolu Dollhouse Accessories.
