bisque shoulder plate,brilliant blue enamel inset
eyes with rich spiral threading,thick dark
eyeliner,painted lashes,mauve eye
shadow,brush-stroked and feathered brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with accented lips,pierced
ears,original blonde lambs-wool wig over cork
pate,kid bebe body with gusset-jointing of
hips,knees and elbows,bisque lower arms and hands
with separately-sculpted fingers and defined
knuckles and nails,pretty red silk costume in the
antique style is included. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: 2/0 (head and shoulder plate).
Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,his first bebe model
known as Bru Brevete,circa 1878. Value Points:
very beautiful bebe with splendid eyes,choicest
bisque and painting,original sturdy body with
perfect bisque hands,and having original maroon
knit stockings and leather shoes signed "Bru Jne
Paris" (in oval) and "00".
