A bisque-headed boy with blue glass eyes,open mouth,four porcelain teeth,painted features,blonde mohair wig,carton body,is balanced on one foot on a wooden toy scooter,his hands gripping the handle bar,and one leg with hinged hip posed on the ground as though ready to "push off". When wound,the left foot moves back and forth,and the the back wheels of the scooter revolve. Marks: Fabrication Francaise A L & C Limoges (doll). Comments: French,circa 1918.
