Description
33" (84 cm.) 33" x 37" frame,22" x 27" painting. A
richly-detailed oil painting on canvas depicts a
gathering of nine people (gentlemen,ladies and
children) in the garden of a fine chateau,sitting
and standing,and admiring the fashion doll and her
costume that is posed at the center front of the
painting. The detail of costumes of each is
exceptional,and added realistic touches include
the bouquet of flowers in grandmama's hands,and
the ribbons on the caps of the two young girls.
The background depicts the side of the chateau,and
various trees and shrubs of the gardens. The
painting is set in its original richly-detailed
frame with gold leaf finish. Excellent condition.
