paperweight inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,painted
dark curly lashes,widely brush-stroked and
feathered brows,accented eye corners,shaded
nostrils,closed mouth with shaded and outlined
lips,separately modeled and applied ears,new
blonde human hair wig over cork pate,French
composition and wooden fully-jointed body with
bisque hands,separately modeled fingers with
defined knuckles and nails,antique costume.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete
Jumeau 15 (and artist checkmarks,on head) 15
(bottom of both feet). Comments: Emile
Jumeau,circa 1888. Value Points: gorgeous face
with superb complexion and eyes,original body with
very rare bisque hands,antique costume includes
Jumeau shoes signed "Paris Depose" with bee
symbol. Ex-collections Dee Van Kampen and Ralph
Griffins.
