10" (25 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulder head with very plump face,painted yellow pate,painted facial features,brilliant cobalt blue eyes in slightly side-glancing pose,painted red and black upper eyeliner,lightly-feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line,blonde lambswool wig,muslin stitch-jointed body with porcelain hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1885,attributed to Alt,Beck and Gottschalk,circa 1880. Value Points: most endearing petite early doll with beautifully-painted features.
