21" (53 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head of adult
lady with oval face and elongated throat,black
sculpted hair with bountiful clusters of curls at
either side of a center part and a large bouquet
of curls at her crown that are captured by a
double row of sculpted beads,painted facial
features,defined eye sockets with heavy
eyelids,black upper eyeliner,azure blue painted
eyes,lightly-feathered brows,aquiline nose,closed
mouth,slender kid body with wooden lower
limbs,green paper bands at junction of kid and
wood,green paper shoes,wearing a fine early sheer
muslin gown and undergarments. Condition:
generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1830.

beautifully-sculpted rare coiffure,fine original
finish.
