27" (69 cm.) Pale bisque shoulder head with plump
facial modeling,very full cheeks,pale bisque with
subtle blushing on cheeks,eyelids and
chin,almond-shaped cobalt blue enamel eyes,dark
eyeliner,painted lashes and brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with outlined lips,unpierced
ears,new brunette mohair wig over cork pate,French
kid gusset-jointed body with stitched and
separated fingers,wearing blue silk gown in the
antique style,undergarments,antique leather boots.
Condition: generally excellent,body is French
poupee albeit not original to the doll. Marks:
E. B. dep. (front shoulder plate) Jumeau Medaille
d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Barrois,circa 1865.
Value Points: striking large poupee with brilliant
cobalt eyes,very beautiful complexion and painting.
