paper mache body with painted shoes and socks.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: LC (in
anchor) (head) Bebe Olga (original paper sticker
on doll). Comments: Lanternier,the trademark Bebe
Olga was registered by Ballu in 1896 and renewed
in 1911; the name was to honor the Grand Duchess
Olga of Russia,the daughter of Czar Nicolas II who
visited France in 1896 to great public acclaim.
