5" (13 cm.) One-piece bisque Kewpie with sculpted green military helmet with pointed finial, side-glancing eyes, blue wings, holding a silver-tipped rifle in his right hand, and a silver-handled knife at his left, with wide black belt. Marked "Kewpie Germany" with red heart label. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1915, from original O'Neill designs.
