Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,blue glass inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted curly lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with pale accented lips,un-pierced ears,blonde mohair wig,stretched-kid-over-wooden body with shapely torso,dowel-jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips and knees,bisque lower arms,wearing lovely silk costume,undergarments,bonnet,old kidskin shoes with silver buckles. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Simon and Halbig,circa 1880. Value Points: an especially beautiful example of the early fashion doll with wooden articulated body and bisque hands.
