Bisque socket head,blue glass flirty eyes,mohair lashes,painted lower lashes,brunette brush-stroked brows with decorative glaze,accented nostrils and eye corners,open mouth,four porcelain teeth,dimpled chin,pierced ears,brunette human hair wig,French composition and wooden body with jointing at shoulders,elbows and wrists,metal-hinged thighs,clock mechanism in torso that causes the doll to "walk" when wound from the attached key at side torso,nicely costumed in the antique style. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 1039 Germany Dep 10 1/2. Comments: Simon and Halbig original bisque head for Roullet et Decamps,circa 1900. Value Points: the charming flirty-eyed expression nicely complements the walking activity of the pretty child doll.
