14" (36 cm.) Porcelain shoulder of adult lady with
slender elongated face,strong
throat,lightly-tinted complexion,light brown
sculpted hair with striated painting that is
arranged away from her face in wide bouffant curls
above rolled curls,and crowned with a large
croissant-shaped curl above cascading looped curls
at the back decorated by a gold-edged aqua
ribbon,painted dark blue eyes,red and black upper
eyeliner,feathered brows,closed mouth,muslin body
with porcelain limbs,ivory gown. Condition:
generally excellent. Comments: Dressel and
Kister,circa 1890. Value Points: rare shoulder
head model from the firm more noted for its
half-dolls,exquisite coiffure,beautifully-painted
features.
