Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,plump facial modeling,blue glass enamel inset eyes with spiral threading,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with accented lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,all-wooden fully-articulated body with shapely torso,dowel-jointing at shoulders,elbows,wrists,hips and knees,pivot jointing at upper legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Medaille d'Argent Huret 22 Boulevard Montmartre Paris Exposition Universelle 1867 (green stamp on front torso). Comments: Maison Huret,circa 1868. Value Points: a lovely poupee with grand eyes and expressive features,fine bisque,fully-articulated wooden body allowing for infinite posing,is contained in an early French poupee trunk with original maker's label,along with an extensive trousseau comprising three early gowns in the "mode enfantine" style,capes,jacket,various undergarments and nightwear,linen pinafore,three bonnets,two pairs of shoes,two parasols,jewelry and accessories,and more.
