18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with blonde
sculpted hair waved away from the face into rolled
curls behind the partially sculpted ears,with
gilt-edged black hair band at the crown,blue glass
inset eyes,painted lashes,black eyeliner,arched
brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed
mouth,new muslin body and new bisque limbs,nicely
costumed. Condition: the back shoulder plate has
been broken off in one piece and reglued; there is
no overpaint. Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value
Points: exquisite beauty with serene
expression,the lady has sculpted gilded earrings
and sculpted necklace.
