24" (61 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged
bisque shoulder plate,with extra neck articulation
allowing the head to modestly nod forward and
flirtatiously tilt side to side,brilliant cobalt
blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted
lashes,arched feathered brows,accented nostrils
and eye corners,closed mouth with slightly
upturned lips in enigmatic smile,ears pierced into
the head,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,kid
poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and
knees,stitched and separated fingers and
toes,pretty antique
dress,undergarments,stockings,shoes,bonnet,jewelry. Condition:

Dehors,circa 1867,who deposed the head
articulation system to allow more realistic posing
of the doll. Value Points: rare early model is
enhanced by most beautiful facial expression,fine
quality of bisque and painting.
