mohair wig over cork pate,French pink kid poupee
body with slender waist,one-piece shapely
legs,one-piece arms with stitched fingers.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
French,circa 1860. Value Points: rare
portrait-like model with adult features is unusual
in this portrait medium,her light-tinted
complexion enhanced by very dramatic eye color and
eye decoration,original body,wonderful early
cotton gown with pagoda sleeves,long fitted
jacket,undergarments,early bonnet,red kidskin
slippers. The doll has a blue ribbon award from
2002 UFDC convention.
