Bisque socket head with light-brown complexion,long-cheeked modeling,large amber-brown glass inset eyes,black eyeliner,thick black painted lashes,black brush-stroked and feathered brows,accented nostrils,open mouth,four porcelain teeth,brown composition and wooden ball-jointed body,new silk and velvet costume included. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 11 H 949 (head) Aux Enfants Sages...Paris (paper label on body). Comments: Simon and Halbig circa 1885,the doll was commissioned by the luxury Parisian doll shop Aux Enfants Sages.
