Description
16" (41 cm.) Carved wooden clown with two-part head, attached cardboard ears, painted white complexion and clown decorations on the widely-smiling figure, all-wooden body jointing at shoulders and hips, large red wooden feet. Condition: very good, some old touch-up on face. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1910. Value Points: early two-part head, original costume, and in rare size designed for use as exhibition or salesman’s model.
