Description
13" (33 cm.) A large folding fan with wooden
blades has glazed silk-like cover which opens to
reveal images of the 1892 Columbian International
Exposition in Chicago; it was at the Exposition
that the Emma Adams American doll won a Gold Medal
which was the first time an American doll maker
had achieved this prize and subsequently gave the
name to her doll,The Columbian Doll. Excellent
condition,dated 1892 by John W. Green.
