26" (66 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged
bisque shoulder plate with very pale bisque
enhanced by subtle blushing,pale blue glass enamel
inset eyes with spiral threading,mauve blushed eye
shadow,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,rose-blushed
eye shadow,feathered brows,accented nostrils and
eye corners,closed mouth with accented
lips,separately applied pierced ears,blonde mohair
wig over cork pate,all-wooden poupee body with
very shapely torso,accentuated
derriere,dowel-jointing at
shoulders,elbows,wrists,hips,and knees. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: (original shop label
of J. Terrene on back torso). Comments:

an extraordinary poupee whose very rare and
beautifully-preserved wooden body accentuates her
gorgeous portrait-like face with finest bisque and
painting,with original wig and pate,and wearing an
exceptional antique fitted gown with extended
train and bustle,undergarments,woven bonnet and
fabulous high leather boots,and having original
shop label of J. Terrene from which she was
originally sold.
