oil-painted facial features and hair,short brown
curly painted hair,stitched-on ears,brown painted
eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered
brows,closed mouth,blushed cheeks,stitch-jointed
body with oil-painted lower arms and legs,bare
feet,pretty cotton dress and undergarments.
Condition: generally excellent,some wear on hair.
Marks: Mrs. S.S. Smith Manufacturer Roanoke Ala.
Comments: Ella Smith's studio cloth doll marketed
as "Alabama Baby",circa 1900. Value Points: rare
petite size with fine original painting on face
