Description
13" (33 cm.) The oval-shaped wooden cradle is
constructed in a barrel-like fashion with
separately-formed panels that are
securely-attached by bentwood strips,with vertical
slats at the sides for ventilation and vision as
well as decorative; other decorations include
classic wheel or star-shaped cut-outs and
elaborate scrolls or rounded edges. Excellent
condition,original finish,one scroll tip missing.
Scandinavian,mid-19th century,a rare small doll
size of the classic cradle of this region.
