19" (48 cm.) All-wooden doll depicting an adult
man,with sculpted short brown hair,sculpted
prominent ears,angular facial shape with strong
nose,socket head,deeply-carved intaglio blue eyes
with large black pupils and white eyedots,black
upper eyeliner,closed mouth,slender adult
body,swivel waist,spring-jointing at
shoulders,elbows,wrists,hips,knees and ankles.
Condition: very good,some old retouch to paint.
Comments: Schoenhut,circa 1917,the model was
created as a mannequin doll. Value Points: rare
adult male doll with wonderful detail of hair
sculpting,wearing antique army uniform and nice
leather and twill shoes.
