Bisque socket head with amber brown complexion (so-called "cafe-au-lair' or mulatto),large amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes,dark eyeliner,lushly-painted dark lashes,brush-stroked black brows,accented eye corners and nostrils,slightly-parted lips,row of teeth,pierced ears,black fleecy hair over cork pate,French brown composition and wooden fully-jointed body,antique dress,undergarments,bonnet,socks,and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4. Comments: Emile Jumeau,circa 1895,the doll is shown in the book,The Beautiful Jumeau by Florence Theriault. Value Points: very beautiful flawless complexion enhanced by dramatic eyes,original body and body finish.
