26" (66 cm.) Felt swivel head with slender face
and elongated throat,head tilted upward,tinted
dark complexion,heavily-lidded brown painted
side-glancing eyes,long painted side
lashes,accented nostrils,closed mouth with very
full lips,unusual painted spit curls at the sides
of her face that join with the black felt skull
cap,elongated lady body with modeled bent elbows
in dancing pose,legs jointed at hips and
knees,high-heel shoes. Condition: very good,two
tiny rubs on face. Marks: Lenci (cloth tag on
costume). Comments: Lenci,circa 1927. Value
Points: rare early model with original
costume,elaborately-designed felt cut-work
mantilla with applique flowers,original wooden
brightly-decorated bracelets,earrings,and holding
a wooden fan with painted decorations of bull fight.
