15" (39 cm.) Bisque socket head,small brown glass
sleep eyes,incised eyeliner,fringe-painted upper
lashes,one-stroke tapered brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with very full pouting
lips,ash-blonde mohair wig,composition and wooden
ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: K*R 114 39. Comments: Kammer and
Reinhardt,circa 1912,the rare glass-eyed version
of their art character model marketed as
"Gretchen". Value Points: very beautiful
delicately-tinted matte bisque,rare glass
eyes,original wig,body,body finish,wonderful
antique costume.
