5 1/2" (14 cm.) One-piece bisque figure of Kewpie with sculpted black helmet decorated with gold eagle and gold finial, his right arm clasping a large bugle, black belt around his waist with silver tipped knife. Incised O'Neill on feet. Excellent condition. Germany, from original designs by Rose O'Neill, circa 1915.
