sleep eyes,short painted lashes and brows,rounded
nose with painted nostrils,slightly-parted
lips,two porcelain upper teeth,brunette mohair wig
in long braids,composition and wooden ball-jointed
toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: 251 G.B. Germany A 7/0

Borgfeldt,circa 1920,the model was commissioned
from Marseille for the important American doll
importer,George Borgfeldt under a special
registration; Borgfeldt enlisted many American
artists in the design of his dolls and it is
likely that this is such an example although the
designer's name remains unknown at this time.
