10" (25 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged
bisque shoulder plate,large pale blue glass enamel
inset eyes,dark eyeliner,feathered brows,accented
nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with center
accent line,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over
cork pate,French kid poupee body with stitched and
separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: 00. Comments: attributed to Jumeau,circa
1875. Value Points: very rare tiny size 00 poupee
with beautiful bisque,entrancing large eyes,very
sturdy original body,original mohair wig in
hip-length braids,and wearing her original
costume,chemise,stockings,leather ankle boots
impressed "J" and "00",matching pressed flannel
bonnet,jewelry,and carrying bone-handled parasol
with silk fringe.
