Description
22" (56 cm.) Each has bisque socket head, amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, lushly-painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, original bodies albeit with repaint. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 10 (head, and with artist checkmarks). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1888. Value Points: the lovely duo have fine bisque and painting, soft antique wigs, matching antique costumes and signed Jumeau shoes.
