deeply-sculpted,shaded blonde bobbed hair with
curly bangs,intaglio side-glancing blue eyes with
white eyedots,red and black upper eyeliner,single

(script) 4. (head) 39 (torso). Comments: Nockler &
Tittel,circa 1910,who advertised themselves in
1910 as "the only doll factory in Saxony";
actually most of their 100 different models were
generic dolls that were simply costumed by the
firm,and the one exception found to-date is this
sculpted-hair side-glancing doll that actually
bears the initials of the firm; an interesting
article about the firm appears in German Doll
Encyclopedia by Cieslik,page 219/220. Value
Points: rare character,few are known to exist with
deeply-sculpted features and endearing shy expression.
