36" (91 cm.) Bisque swivel head on bisque shoulder
plate,brown glass paperweight inset eyes,thick
dark eyeliner,painted lashes,brush-stroked and
multi-feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye
corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced
ears,brunette human hair wig,on mannequin body
with detachable arms for costuming,painted shoes
and socks. Condition: generally excellent,some
paint wear on hands and shoes. Marks: Bru Jne R
14. Comments: Maison Bru,circa 1895,the firm
supplied bisque heads for mannequins to be
presented in luxury costume shops of Paris. Value
Points: beautiful bisque and painting,wearing
wonderful antique ensemble of white pique with red
