12" (30 cm.) Carved wooden head with shapely torso,deeply-sculpted brown hair in deep waves
captured at the back of her head with a double bun held by an orange band,brown enamel
eyes,dark eye shadow,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accented
lips,wooden arms and legs with dowel-jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips and
knees,expressively-posed fingers. Condition: generally excellent,paint rub on nose,finger tips
chipped. Comments: Germany,late 18th/early 19th century. Value Points: fine artistry of
carving,fully-articulated wooden body,original elaborate costume and coiffe.
