17" (43 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with blonde sculpted hair arranged in unusual curls with braid
at the crown that is decorated by a Dresden flower and leaves,having painted blue eyes with red
and black upper eyeliner,single stroke brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent
line,pierced ears,sculpted fancy bodice with ruffled collar decorated with blue and white,white
beaded edging,and pink painted decorations,newer muslin stitch-jointed body with bisque
lower arms and legs,nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent,few typical flakes on
Dresden leaves in hair. Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value Points: rarity factors include
unusual coiffure and very fancy Dresden collar and hair ornaments.
