9" (23 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head with oval-shaped face and sculpted black hair in rows of
curls around the forehead and then captured in a high beehive arrangement at the
crown,painted turquoise eyes,black brows,closed mouth,nicely-blushed cheeks,slender kid body
with wooden lower limbs,painted flat green shoes,nicely re-costumed. Condition: very
good,nose tip retouched. Comments: Germany,circa 1830. Value Points: rare coiffure,appealing
large eyes.
