9" (23 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head with very slender oval face and elongated throat,black
sculpted hair drawn around the sides,over her ears,and captured in a braided chignon at the
back,painted turquoise eyes,black upper eyeliner and brows,closed mouth,cloth torso and upper
limbs,wooden lower arms and legs,painted shoes. Condition: generally excellent,some body
repair. Comments: Germany,circa 1860. Value Points: especially pleasing oval-shaped face and
slender throat,wearing original cotton plaid dress and antique undergarments.
