17" (43 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with slender oval face and elongated throat,black sculpted
hair arranged in very ornate coiffure with intricately-arranged curls,decorative comb,sculpted
pierced ears,painted blue eyes,red and black eyeliner,single-stroke brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth,center accent line with upturned lip corners,early muslin stitch-jointed
body and porcelain limbs,wearing rose silk gown with lace overlay,pearl applique
beading,undergarments,slippers. Condition: generally excellent,small restoration at right ear
lobe. Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value Points: hard-to-find model with very ornate
coiffure.
