7" (18 cm.) Terra cotta shoulder head turned to the side and upward,having a bald pate with
sculpted grey hair at the sides and back,painted facial features,tiny enamel eyes,sculpted
brows,large nose,closed mouth,prominent chin,hemp-wrapped armature body with terra-cotta
hands and feet,expressively-posed fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
Neopolitan,early 19th century. Value Points: rare small model with superb detail of sculpting and
painting,original silk and velvet costume,leather satchel.
