9" (23 cm.) All-wooden carved doll with one-piece egg-shaped head and torso,elongated
throat,sculpted black hair with spit curls framing the face,sculpted yellow tuck comb at the
crown,painted facial features,small brown eyes,black brows,tiny mouth,peg-jointed wooden
arms and legs,painted shoes,nicely costumed. Condition: very good,some complexion touch-up.
Comments: Grodnertal,circa 1850. Value Points: appealing petite size perfect for dollhouse
display.
